We are big fans of the ipod touch, though it isn't as feature packed as it's bigger iphone brother, it is still an amazing little device. It lacks a camera, but that's not a big deal really. The biggest bummer was the lack of a GPS receiver inside the Ipod touch. Well, no more need to worry since The Magellan GPS Car Kit for Ipod Touch and Iphone has been released now!

At long last, we can have GPS for our ipod touch without having to pay the $70 or so a month for a 3G data plan. The actual Magellan GPS app (which is sold separately) is great quality and feature packed. It was designed with the iphone and ipod touch features in mind, and makes full use of all of them. It works in either portrait or landscape mode, and even gives voice directions so you don't ever have to take your eyes off the road. It's a great little GPS application for the ipod touch, and one of the highest reviewed so far!
