Apple Tablet Notebook and Netbook Computers

In the world of technology bigger isn’t always necessarily better and this has been seen especially with the release of the versatile mini notebook computers. Apple is going to be releasing their own Apple netbook here pretty soon, or perhaps it will be called an Apple Tablet or the iTablet. Who knows? All we do know is that they will need something good to compete with the new Mircosoft Courier notebook that is being released!

The portability of these machines is why they have taken the world by storm the past few months. They offer light computing and Internet surfing wherever there is an Internet connection. Due to their small size and format, they tend to have a longer battery life giving you more computing time per battery charge. Also their size makes them quite a bit more portable than a normal laptop computer.

Many companies have joined the mini notebook bandwagon and have put their computers on diets making them as small as they can. Whether you prefer Sony, Dell, or Acer, there is a netbook out there just right for you. Most are small enough to fit in purse or tote bag, almost small enough to fit in your pocket, unless you have abnormally big pockets.

Their physical size is only one part of what makes these mini notebook computers so useful and popular in the tech world. The rule still applies that it is what is inside that counts most on these netbooks. Every netbook comes packed with wireless Internet capabilities. This makes them ideal for those who want to surf the web on the go. Other simple computing tasks can be done on the machines as well. Although with a screen size that is around the same size as a portable DVD player, you can’t expect these mini notebooks to become your primary computer. You can read more about these at Netbook Notebook Titan.

Even though they normally do not have the same capacity of storage as their larger computer brothers, you do have the option of using removable storage drives because of the built in UBS ports. This can come in handy especially when you are on vacation or away from home for a long amount of time. You can do most basic things that you could do on your primary computer, such as check your email, surf the web, and upload your pictures off of your camera.

Netbooks lack the advanced graphics necessary for gaming and lacks the applications for serious computing. Though because of their small and light footprint, they are ideal for classroom use. While a full-sized laptop can be heavy and tiresome to carry, the netbook on the other hand fits perfectly in a purse or bag. This makes them incredibly convenient for note taking and information searching on the Internet.

Another large factory in the growing popularity of the mini notebook computer is the fact that they sell between ½ and 1/3 the cost of a basic laptop computer. This is having a big impact on schools and even families. Making it possibly for everyone to have their own computer, and schools to be able to afford to purchase more of them for teaching and classroom work.

Even though these mini notebooks will not replace laptops, they still can serve as our essential computer needs for a fraction of the price. It is no wonder why this trend is growing in popularity, and will grow even more when Apple releases their much anticipated Apple Tablet Netbook.
