This can come in handy especially when you are on vacation or away from home for a long amount of time. Netbooks lack the advanced graphics necessary for gaming and lacks the applications for serious computing. Though because of their small and light footprint, they are ideal for classroom use. This makes them incredibly convenient for note taking and information searching on the Internet.
Another large factory in the growing popularity of the mini notebook computer is the fact that they sell between ½ and 1/3 the cost of a basic laptop computer. This is having a big impact on schools and even families. Making it possibly for everyone to have their own computer, and schools to be able to afford to purchase more of them for teaching and classroom work.
Even though these mini notebooks will not replace laptops, they still can serve as our essential computer needs for a fraction of the price. It is no wonder why this trend is growing in popularity, and will grow even more when Apple releases their much anticipated Apple Tablet Netbook.
